PRESS RELEASE NOTIFICATION TO THE PUBLIC OF THE NAMES OF PERSONS NOMINATED FOR VETTING BY THE COUNTY ASSEMBLY FOR APPOINTMENT AS SECRETARY AND MEMBER OF VIHIGA COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD.

IT IS NOTIFIED for the general public that on the 30th day of March 2023, I, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 58A of the County Governments Act No.17 of 2012 (referred to hereinafter as the Act), appointed a Selection Panel for purposes of selection of suitable persons to be appointed as Secretary and Member of the Vihiga County Public Service Board.

The Selection Panel submitted its report to me on the 11th May 2023.

In compliance with section 58A (7) of the Act as read with Section 6(2) of the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval) Act No. 5 of 2017, I have on the date hereof nominated and forwarded the names of the persons appearing below to the Vihiga County Assembly for vetting, approval and subsequent appointment to the respective positions in the Vihiga County Public Service Board.
