Kitulu Vocational Training Centre is Located in Kitulu Village, Mungoma ward, Vihiga Sub County, Vihiga County. It is situated about 3kilometres from Majengo town, 400metres off Majengo- Luanda tarmac road at Bukuga junction.

The institution was established as a Youth Polytechnic in January 2010 and was fully registered under the defunct Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in May 2010. The main purpose of the institution was to offer Vocational Training to the youth.

The training Centre was initially accommodated at the primary school but it has moved to where it is currently situated. It has a total of 0.6acrepiece of land with 0.1 acre separated by the Bukuga Magada tarmac road. Since its inception the vocational training Centre has seen more than three hundred and fifty (350) trainees graduate with vocational skills in different trades.

Projects

1) Construction of gate and sentry house - This project was funded by the Board of Management and it is not complete.

2) Construction of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy classroom - This project was funded by Vihiga Constituency Development Fund and it has stalled.

Achievements

1) Acquire 0.6 acre piece of land

2) Put up a twin workshop through the County Government.

Education, Science and Technical Vocational Training

The county government has continued to expand space for people to enjoy their rights, liberties and responsibilities. This has been witnessed in public participation in various programmes especially in the realm of education.
