KAYILA COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT

As the world marks World Water Day today, Deputy Governor (DG) Wilberforce Kitiezo on behalf of Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo officially commissioned Kayila Community Water Project in Luanda South Ward, Luanda Sub County.
Currently serving 100 households, the project has made it possible for Ekwanda residents to access clean and safe water at their doorstep.
According to the DG, water remains a top priority for Governor Ottichilo’s administration, with last mile connectivity currently ongoing across the County to ensure all residents have access to clean water.
He also added that the project will be expanded to increase distribution across the larger Luanda South Ward, calling on residents to embrace proper management of the project for better service provision.
