LIVERPOOL SCHOOL TROPICAL MEDICINE
Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo received a team from Liverpool School Tropical Medicine (LSTM) ahead of their three days bench-marking tour on the quality for Integrated HIV, TB and Malaria in Ante-Natal and Post-Natal Healthcare program.
Led by Prof. Charles Ameh, the partnership team comprised a representation from Tanzania, Gambia, Senegal, Nigeria, Togo, Zanzibar and the United Kingdom (UK).
In Vihiga, 21 Healthcare facilities are implementing the program that was piloted between 2021 and 2024.
Under the program, Liverpool School Tropical Medicine together with County Government of Vihiga trained on;
Competency Based on ANC/PNCQuality improvement informed by Standard based auditMentorship skills
