The event was graced by the Prime Cabinet Secretary and CS for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi alongside Vihiga Governor H.E. Dr. Wilber Ottichilo.
The event brought together over 10,000 youth from Vihiga and neighbouring counties who are eager to learn how to access job opportunities abroad in a secure, safe and organized process.
Dr. Ottichilo affirmed that as a county with limited land resources, one of our key focus is Human Resource Development. We have 4 Technical Training Institutes, 2 Teacher’s Training Colleges and 34 Vocational Training Centres where we produce more Human Resource than we can absorb. This Job Fair presents a great opportunity for us to export labour especially the youth who will uplift their families.
