VIHIGA YOUTH WASH PARLIAMENT

Department of Environment Water Energy Natural Resources & Climate Change in collaboration with Vihiga YOUTH WASH Parliament today organized a monthly clean up exercise at Serem market where residents were also sensitized on environmental cleanliness, proper waste disposal and penalties for illegal dumping.

Much appreciation goes to WASH Alliance Kenya, IGrow Africa Centre, Lichina Resort, The Green Embassy Kenya, The Green Virtual Assistant, Forezava, KNCCI – Vihiga, Catholic Justice & Peace Department – Kakamega, St. John Ambulance, Kenya Redcross, KCB Bank, Kenya Power, SMACHS Foundation, Vihiga Scouts Association, St. Elizabeth Erusui and residents of Serem for partnering with us to make the day a success.
