H.E. Wilberforce Kitiezo – Deputy Governor Vihiga County on behalf of His Excellency Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo, EGH received a delegation from Mandera, Isiolo, Garissa and Wajir Counties who visited Vihiga county to benchmark on the Social protection program.

Through the support of the State Department for Social Protection (SDSP), Council of Governors-Kenya and UNICEF Kenya, the North Eastern Counties are keen to learn Boresha Afya ya Mama na mtoto dubbed as #Ottichilocare program in Vihiga.

Under the Ottichilo Care program the team will be taken through:- the eligibility criteria, recruitment process, legal framework that supports the program and how the program has helped Vihiga manage indicators on maternal and Child Health.
