MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

The three-day Mentorship Program for students under the Governor’s Scholarship came to an end today at Chango Secondary School in Vihiga Sub County.

In his address, Duncan Kihima, one of the motivational speakers of the day, encouraged the 440 students to take advantage of the opportunity of being on the scholarship program to achieve their goals through setting visions and working towards them.

Themed “Academic Excellence amidst Emerging Socio-Economic Trends in Education,” the workshop was organized by the Department of Education, Science, Technical and Vocational Training and officially opened by Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo on 17th December 2024.
