OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF VIHIGA FUNERAL PARLOUR

H.E. Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo in the company of H.E. Wilberforce Kitiezo – Deputy Governor Vihiga County on Friday officially opened the Vihiga County State of the Art Funeral Home at the Vihiga County Referral Hospital

‎Speaking during the opening, Governor Ottichilo noted that the funeral polour will be able to serve not only residents of Vihiga County but the larger western region. In addition to giving our departed loved ones a befitting send off, it will also serve as a learning and training facility for our Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) students.

‎The County Government of Vihiga has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kaimosi Friends University and Great Lakes University who will be using the facility for training their medical students as well.

‎The funeral parlour has a capacity of 100 bodies.
