THE 45TH EDITION OF THE MARAGOLI CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Cultural festivals allow us to showcase our diverse traditions and culture, our heritage passed down generations.

I joined the Maragoli community today, led by Prime Cabinet Secretary H.E. Hon Musalia W Mudavadi for the 45th edition of the Maragoli Cultural festival held today at the Vihiga municipal grounds in Mbale.

We appreciate our elders for ensuring that we celebrate our cultural diversity, which also provides a platform for transitioning our culture and heritage to the young generation.

The County Government of Vihiga consolidated all Vihiga Cultural festivals under the 1st Edition of the Vihiga Cultural Festivals – a cultural Extravaganza that brings together all the communities in our county for cohesion and integration, seeking to promote cultural heritage and tourism among our people.
