Wilberforce Kitiezo was born on 21st May 1983.

He attended Ainsworth Primary School in Nairobi and later joined Eastleigh High School for his secondary education.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a certificate in Criminal Justice from Kenya Institute of Studies in Criminal Justice.

The Deputy Governor brings wealth of experience in management to County administration having previously served as a Councillor in the defunct Vihiga Municipal Council (2008 – 2012) and a Member of County Assembly for Lugaga/Wamuluma Ward (2013-2017).
