EFFORTS TO CURB CERVICAL CANCER IN VIHIGA.

The County Government of Vihiga in partnership with Cure Cervical Cancer organization Kenya, conducted a two days training for healthcare providers on improved skills of early diagnosis and prevention of cervical cancer.

Through the department of health services, the trainees were take through:

Cervical cancer prevention.

Cervical cancer pathophysiology.

Introduction to Commcare.

CommCare app training.

CommCare review and data management.

Screening and treatment.

Thermal Ablation disinfection and post treatment counseling.
