COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT
Hosted Cabinet Secretary for East African Community (EAC), Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs) & Regional Development – Hon. Beatrice Askul, who paid me a courtesy call in my office this afternoon.
The CS was in the County to commission Tsimbalo water project in Izava/Lyaduywa ward, Sabatia Sub County, a project implemented by the Lake Basin Development Authority.
With a yielding capacity of 9,000 – 11,000 litres per hour, the project will serve upto 7,000 households, ensuring constant supply of clean and safe water.
Water connectivity is a priority for my administration, we are currently implementing last mile connectivity of our water projects/schemes to households across the County.
