EFFORTS TO EMPOWER REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH.

Department of health services held a leadership engagement meeting with The Challenge Initiative (TCI) project team led by Peter Kagwe, TCI Country lead.

The meeting was geared towards advocating for continued investment in family planning and Adolescent youth Reproductive in Vihiga County.

Through the partnership that is bound by an MOU, Vihiga has realised tremendous reduction in teenage pregnancy and increased access to various Reproductive healthcare services which includes;

Development and launch of Adolescent and youth strategic plan.

Strengthened health systems.

Safe deliveries.

Strengthened data quality.

Demand generation and Advocacy.
