COMPLIANCE EXERCISE IN EXTRACTIVE SECTOR

The Directorate of Environment, Energy and Natural Resources in collaboration with Nema Kenya – Vihiga conducted an assessment of mining activities in Tiriki East Sub County.

Non-Compliant sites at Siekuti, Bundolovo and Kaimosi were issued with cessation notices as part of a collaborative effort to ensure responsible mining.
