To improve on sanitation within our markets, the County Government of Vihiga through the Department of Commerce, Tourism and Cooperatives has today commissioned an eco-toilet in Cheptulu market

The newly constructed eco-toilet comes in as a big boost set to serve more than a thousand traders alongside thier esteemed customers.

‎While addressing traders after commissioning the project, The County Executive Committee Member (CECM) incharge of Commerce, Tourism and Cooperatives Hon. Joseph Lunani called for sustainability, security and efficiency.

A management committee will be established as per the guidelines whose mandate are well elaborated in the Vihiga Trade and Market Act.
