SUPERVISORY VISIT OF CHAMBITI MERCURY FREE GOLD PROCESSING PROJECT

Earlier today, a joint team of the County and officials from UNDP and state Department of Environment and Natural Resources made a supervisory visit to the Chambiti Mercury-Free Gold processing project under construction.

Notable progress has been made by the contractor in the development that is aimed at phasing out the use of Mercury in gold processing as widely practiced in Vihiga.
