NCD ALLIANCE KENYA

H.E. Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo today hosted officials from NCD Alliance Kenya and UNICEF at the County Headquarters.

Governor Ottichilo appreciated the development partners for their commitment and partnership with Vihiga County, noting that their presence and support not only benefit Vihiga but also positively impact the entire region, including neighbouring counties.

“We are grateful that UNICEF is returning to support a very important program that has already given Vihiga a good name,” said the Governor. “This unique initiative aligns with our goal to ensure that our children not only survive, but thrive.”

The Governor also emphasized the growing need for stronger advocacy around Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), highlighting it as a critical health priority.
