Partners drawn from Mastercard Foundation and World Vegetable Centre organization today paid a courtesy call to Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo at his office.

The meeting was centered on;

Possible ways of collaborating with County Government of Vihiga in implementing the Agroecology policy through promotion of African Leafy Vegetables (ALV)

Exploring ways of operationalizing the Manyatta ALV Cold storage facility under the management of Youth groups

Training youth as off takers to market vegetables outside the County and in the diaspora

Further collaboration in establishing a County seed bank
