INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY

Vihiga County today joined the rest of the World in celebrating the International Youth Day, themed; Youth Empowerment for Sustainability.
‎Speaking during the celebrations held at Chavakali High School, Vihiga Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo noted t‎hat his administration has empowered youths through employment in various departments.
He further called on the youths to practice integrity, shun corruption and develop good leadership skills.
‎County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Gender, Culture, Youth, Sports, Children and Social Services Dr. Ruth Agesa reminded the youthful gathering of the critical role they play in society, urging them to embrace dialogue when addressing emerging issues.
