DEVOLUTION CONFERENCE

County Government of Vihiga team led by Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo is taking part in the ongoing 9th Devolution Conference at HomaBay High School grounds, HomaBay County.

The conference was officially opened today by President Dr. William Samoei Ruto who led Governors in celebrating achievements that have been realized since the inception of Devolution. Dr. Ruto further challenged all Governors to put resources availed to prudent use for efficient service delivery.

Themed “For the people, For prosperity: Devolution as a catalyst for equity, inclusion and social justice,” Vihiga is showcasing and sharing best practices that have transformed governance and accelerated development at the County level.

Governor Ottichilo later on participated in a Break Away panel session on Performance Management: Restoring Trust and Excellence in County Governments.
