CLEAN AND SAFE WATER

Working towards realization of this intervention, Dr. Ottichilo today commissioned Ebukhaya Community Water Project in Central Bunyore ward, Emuhaya Sub County.

Implemented at a cost of Kshs. 21M, phase two of the project serves more than 300 households, providing significantly improved access to clean and safe drinking water.

To increase connectivity, the Governor noted that more resources will be availed to expand the project and rope in more beneficiaries.

Ebukhaya water project was implemented to enhance the community’s capacity to adapt to Climate Change through promotion of access to clean and safe water for consumption in Central and North East Bunyore wards through adaptation of Climate Smart water supply.
