SELECTION PANEL

As the term for the current Vihiga County Public Service Board comes to an end in November 2025, it’s mandated under Section 58A of the County Government Act to have a Selection panel in place vetted by the County Assembly to conduct the recruitment process for a new board.

‎Today, the selection panel led by Chairperson Simani Nicholas alongside members; Hellen Oyalo, Stanley Omuterema, Edwin Lugadiru and CPA Dinah Majani were officially sworn in at the County headquarters to oversee and conduct the recruitment of another board.

‎Speaking during the exercise, Vihiga County Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo emphasized on the need to ensure that the recruitment process is visionary, accountable, transparent and conversant to the new digital era.
