HORTICULTURAL ENTERPRISES
With the objective to enable farmers in Buhani, Mungoma ward commercialize their horticultural enterprises through installation of 3 green houses and drip irrigation kits on 100 farms as well as capacity building and provision of farm inputs, farmers are now harvesting and selling their produce making it one of the successful climate smart project in the region.
The Buhani Irrigation Project was implemented by the Directorate of Climate Change under the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action Program, Kenya.
