The County Government of Vihiga has today received a donation of non-pheumatic anti shock garments from Momentum Country and Global Leadership (#MCGL) that will go a long way in reducing maternal deaths occasioned by excessive bleeding.

These non-pheumatic anti shock garments safeguards expectant mothers from escalation complications before and after delivery.

Chief Officer Dr. Mary Anyiendah thanked MCGL who have been a key partner in strengthening health systems through mentorship, capacity building, and continuous quality improvement. Over time, this collaboration has yielded significant results in improving maternal and newborn health outcomes across the county.
