LAND COMPENSATION AND RELOCATION ARRANGEMENTS

Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo today hosted the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Hon Musalia W Mudavadi at the Vihiga County Headquarters for a consultative meeting with land owners of the proposed Kidundu Stadium site.
The discussions focused on land compensation and relocation arrangements to pave way for the construction of a 10,000-seat ultra-modern stadium in Kidundu.
The County Government of Vihiga has been engaging stakeholders to secure the 20 acres required for the stadium and its supporting infrastructure.
Dr. Ottichilo commended the community for their cooperation, noting that their support is instrumental in unlocking the County’s economic potential through this transformative project. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working closely with the National Government to advance further development initiatives.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi, on his part, assured the affected landowners that the County Government will provide fair and lawful compensation. He expressed appreciation for the community’s willingness to contribute to Vihiga’s growth and transformation.
Later on, the team joined Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) – Kenya faithfuls at Mbale Municipal Grounds for the Sabatia/Vihiga Cluster service graced by the General Superintendent, Rev. Bishop Kenneth Adiara.
