ADHOC COMMITTEES

The Adhoc Committees for Luanda and Cheptul Municipalities have today been sworn in at the County Headquarters in a ceremony witnessed by Governor Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo alongside H.E. Wilberforce Kitiezo – Deputy Governor Vihiga County

The two committees have already been gazetted under the Kenya Gazette Notice 7839 and 7840 and are ready to start work.

Dr. Ottichilo noted that Cheptul and Luanda will now join Vihiga Municipality in benefiting from the grants from Kenya Urban Support Program and other grants a move that will realize tremendous development in the areas.

County Government of Vihiga is committed to providing an enabling environment ensuring that communities in the areas run their towns.
