Apiculture Program
As we gear towards implementing projects that support livelihoods of our people, County Government of Vihiga through the Directorate of Climate Change under the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action Program, Kenya is implementing a countywide Apiculture program.
The project entails construction of Apiaries in Gisambai, South Maragoli and West Bunyore wards, establishment of Honey Processing Plant and training women and youth in Bee keeping.
Director Winstone Atamba led officers in an inspection tour of ongoing works at the Kimogoi Apiary in Gisambai Ward.
