CAPACITY-BUILDING SESSION
Earlier today, officers from the Directorate of Environment, Energy and Natural Resources undertook a capacity-building session on Data Management at the County’s GIS Laboratory.
The officers were trained on best practices in data collection including the use of the KOBO tool with particular emphasis placed on data cleaning, accuracy, relevance, and efficiency in all datasets.
It was noted that, this marked the first departmental training of its kind aimed at enhancing quality in all datasets collected.
