Climate Action

The Directorate Of Climate Change today held a symposium on Climate Action at the Kaimosi Friends University‘s Centre of Excellence for Climate Action (CECARE).

The symposium brought together stakeholders from the University, Civil Societies, Communities and the government with an aim of deliberating on priority Climate Resilience actions for implementation under the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action Program, Kenya.

In attendance were Department of Environment Water Energy Natural Resources & Climate Change County Executive Committee Member (CECM) Onzere Mulongo, Chief Officer Dr. Richard Boiyo, and Kaimosi Friends University Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academics, Student Affairs and Research Prof. Fred Anangwe Amimo.
