Consultative Meeting

Department of Gender, Culture, Youth, Sports and Social Services team led by County Executive Committee Member (CECM) Anne Desma held a consultative meeting with various partners amongst them FIDA-Kenya and USAID Kenya.

The meeting’s agenda included;

Support to the County Government of Vihiga using a Multisectoral approach that will bring all stakeholders on board to implement the Vihiga GBV Policy that was launched on 10th December 2024.

Capacity building of the Department and Resource mobilisation strategy to disseminate the policy down to grassroots level.

Capacity building of Data management using a joint programme with the Department of Health.
