CONSULTATIVE MEETING

Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo today evening held a consultative meeting with Cultural Elders drawn from the Tiriki and Terik communities.

The discussion centered on;

Support to the Tiriki/Terik cultural circumcision festivals

Strengthening cultural festivals at the Sub County levels

Construction of a cultural centre for the Terik Community

Equipping of the Shiru Cultural and Shamakhokho Resource Centres

Documentation and Digitization of cultural assets from the Terik and Tiriki communities

Budget request to fund Lutirichi Book writing initiative

Among elders present were; John Bor, Morris Ingati and Wycliffe Sakwa Mmaitsi.
