Consultative Sessions

County Government of Vihiga (Executive) and Vihiga County Assembly wings today embarked on consultative sessions with respective Departmental Committees of the House to deliberate on matters 2025/2026 Budget estimates and allocations.

The Executive wing led by the County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) their Chief Officers, Directors and officers in their departments had their chance to defend their proposed allocations for the coming financial year with respect to priority development projects and activities.

This comes at a time when the Ottichilo led Government is geared towards its continuous interest in impacting the livelihoods of the Vihiga residents through gradual development as the County Assembly is expected to resume sessions in a week’s time.
