A team from Rainbow 4 Africa UK led by RAA-Kenya Chairperson Dr. Francis Wanyama have today paid a courtesy visit to Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo ahead of their monitoring and evaluation visit to a maternity open day in Kegondi.

Dr. Ottichilo appreciated the partnership between County Government of Vihiga and Rainbow 4 Africa that has seen tremendous improvement in maternal and neonatal health in the County.

Rainbow 4 Africa donated two ultrasound kits which have been used in outreaches enabling access to ultrasound services at the point of the outreach.

Dr. Wanyama applauded Vihiga for doing well in providing reproductive health services to residents adding that the collaboration will also explore training of Community Health Promoters (CHPs) on handling Antenatal Care (ANC) at the community level to enhance maternal and neonatal health across the County.
