EBUKHOLI WATER SUPPLY AND CATCHMENT CONSERVATION

Construction of Ebukholi Water Supply and catchment conservation in NorthEast Bunyore ward is at 30%. Once complete the project will guarantee residents constant access to clean and safe water.
Scope of works on the project include:
✅ Spring protection and conservation
✅ Construction of a duty office
✅ Construction of 100m³ (100,000Liters) masonry clear water sump (underground tank)
✅ Installation and commissioning of solar panels and related electrical works inclusive of security lighting and other security related components i.e CCTV cameras
✅Installation and commissioning of a submersible pump of pumping capacity of 20m³/hr at 100m H
✅ Fencing of the water supply intake
✅ Construction of an accessway staircase to the intake
✅ Construction of an elevated steel pressed tank of 100m³ (100,000Liters) on a 12M High tower
✅ Pipelaying, testing and commissioning (Rising main 1,340M, distribution lines 3,940M)
✅ Last mile connectivity of 100 households
✅ Installation and commissioning of 100No water meters
✅ Environmental conservation and climate change mitigation components and safeguards
The project is being implemented by the Directorate of Climate Change under the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action Program, Kenya.
