County Government of Vihiga through the Department of Commerce, Tourism and Cooperatives today oversaw the election of Majengo market leadership committee at Keveye Technical and Vocational Education Training centre.

The democratic exercise is aimed at setting up market leadership that will ensure smooth operation of day to day trade activities.

While congratulating the elected officials, County Executive Committee Member (CECM) incharge of Commerce, Tourism and Cooperatives Joseph Lunani called for collaboration between the department and the new leadership to ensure traders’ issues are addressed.
