Vihiga Governor, H.E. Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo alongside Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi today played host to Ambassador Vsevolod Tkachenko of the Russian Federation to Kenya.

‎Their discussion was centred on collaborative initiatives between the County Government of Vihiga and the Russian Republic for the development of the County in the following sectors;

‎ Enhancing healthcare services.

‎ Advancing educational facilities

‎ Improving water accessibility and

‎ Addressing environmental and climate change challenges.

‎As part of their engagement, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the following sites;

Vihiga County Referral Hospital

‎ Chanzeywe Technical and Vocational College

‎ Maseno Water Treatment Plant

‎ Kaila Community Climate Resilience Water Project.
