INDUCTION EXERCISE
Department of Environment, Water, Energy, Natural Resources and Climate Change has completed a two day induction exercise of the County Environment Committee Members at Sosa Cottages in Gisambai ward.
The committee plays the critical role of mainstreaming Environmental and Social safeguards in all development projects in the County through proper management of the environment within the county.
The induction exercise provided an avenue for the members to familiarize with a number of issues which include;
Climate Change Environmental laws and complianceThe committee also took an inspection tour of various areas of environmental concern in the County.
