INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY

As a follow-up to the International Youth Day celebrations held earlier this month, Vihiga Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo today held a discussion with the Vihiga County Youth Service Board at the County Headquarters.

‎Led by their Chairperson, Wycliffe Chabaya, the team presented a status report to the Governor that highlighted their achievements, challenges and the way forward.

In his remarks, ‎Dr. Ottichilo encouraged the board to sensitize youths across the County to link up with all County departments and get to know of ongoing youth-based programs.

He further urged the youth to register companies in order for them to benefit from youth-friendly loans and grants, and also apply for tenders frequently advertised by the County Government.
