KAPTIK- MWALA COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT.
In a bid to ensure residents of Shiru ward in Hamisi Sub County have access to constant supply of clean and safe water, Governor Dr. Wilber Khasilwa Ottichilo has today commissioned the Kaptik- Mwala Community Water Project.
With the ability to serve 400 Households, the project is currently serving more than 150 households and institutions with plans in place to expand its coverage.
The Kaptik-Mwala water project was implemented to enhance resilience of the community against seasonal shortage of water by increasing storage and reticulation.
