Sensitisation of County Drivers
H.E. Wilberforce Kitiezo – Deputy Governor Vihiga County today graced the sensitisation of County drivers to the proposed County Manual at Mutembe friends church
Speaking during the sensitization, the Deputy Governor asked the Department of Transport and Infrastructure to work with the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA) and realize a comprehensive training for the drivers.
The Regional Director for the National Transport Safety Authority ( NTSA) Wilson Ntoika Sankei took the drivers through the safety tips on the road including:-
Not driving for more than eight hours Obeying all traffic rules Putting on a safety belt Not drinking and driving Adhering to the speed limits Respecting other road users Maintaining a safe distance with the vehicle infront; and Not using phones while driving.
