FAREWELL SEND-OFF

The County Government of Vihiga‘s Department of Education in partnership with the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) held a farewell send-off for three of its retired managers as an appreciation to their diligent service delivery to the County Government of Vihiga and the residents of Vihiga at large.

Dr. Ruth Agesa – CECM Education Vihiga County applauded the trio on their exemplary work. She assured the Vocational Training Centres Managers of the Department’s commitment to streamline welfare matters for all staff.

On his part, the Chief Officer Mr. Dominic Luvavo urged the retired managers to take a careful selection of their retirement plan. He assured Managers that staff welfare is his priority and that he will ensure both Managers and Trainers welfare is improved to ensure effective service delivery.

The keynote speaker, Kenya Commercial Bank Manager, Mbale Branch challenged the Department to realize the already signed Memorandum of Understanding between the County Government and the Bank to support youth on a 1:1 matching tuition support program.
