INVESTING IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTAINANCE OF ROADS

Investing in the construction and maintenance of roads is an investment in farmers and enterprises in our rural areas; a way to connect them to opportunities and spark economic growth from the grassroots.

On a development tour of the Western region, President William Samoei Ruto on Tuesday launched the construction of the 20.8-Kilometre Mago-Mululu-Wangulu and Lusui-Vokoli roads. He also inspected the work in progress in Gisambai-Hamisi-Senende road.

Improving the road network is a great milestone and County Government of Vihiga through the Department of Transport will continue to collaborate with the national government to ensure that more roads are tarmacked.
