KEGONDI WATER PROJECT

Some of the works done include:

Construction of sump 50m3 and connection to spring source

Supply and installation of a solar pumping system

Construction of power house

Supply and laying of the rising main

Supply and erection of an elevated steel tank 50m3 on steel tower

Supply and laying of distribution mains

Connection to 100 households

The project was implemented by the County Government of Vihiga through the Directorate of Climate Change under the Vihiga County Climate Change resilience projects and is awaiting official commissioning.
